More than 90 percent of skin cancers are caused by sun exposure. The good news is that many cases of skin cancer are preventable. The Scan Foundation in partnership with the Atlanta Braves and Piedmont Cancer Center will host “skin spot checks” before the Braves game on Sunday, August 29 at Turner Field in Monument Grove. Dermatologists will be available for skin spot checks.
To purchase your Braves tickets please visit the scan foundation website at scanfoundation.com. Individuals who purchase Braves tickets though the Scan Foundation may meet the Braves Wives in a VIP area before the game. Don’t forget your camera.Beverages and snacks, free sunscreen samples and prize drawings will also be available in the VIP Hank Aaron room.
